Intercultural personnel development

A central field of action in the university's personnel development concept is the internationalization of all university employees. The university's goal with its university development planning is to create a holistic concept for employees in teaching, research and the science-supporting areas. In this way, intercultural competencies are to be promoted. The concept includes foreign language skills and further training on special international topics.

As of now, the university has a wide range of free continuing education and support offerings available to provide targeted assistance to all university employees in building these competencies. Below you will find information on the offerings for:

• Professors, Scientific staff, teaching staff and doctoral candidates 
• Academic support staff 

The program "Intercultural Personnel Development" is coordinated and further developed in the Prorectorate for University Development. The program is carried out in cooperation with the IKKS and the Department of University Didactics. Your questions and requests regarding the offers will be gladly accepted.
